Annual Residential Clean-Up Program

Each residential property within Tracy city limits is eligible for one free Annual Residential Clean-Up per calendar year.

Use this service to safely and responsibly dispose of large household items that don’t fit in your regular carts.

Please review the program requirements below before completing your Annual Residential Clean-Up request.

Program Details & Collection Guidelines

What Can Be Collected

  • Up to ten (10) 32-gallon trash bags (or equivalent)
  • Two (2) large furniture or appliance items (e.g., sofas, mattresses, refrigerators)
  • Items must be placed neatly at the curb, not blocking sidewalks or gutters)

  • Schedule your free pickup by calling (209) 835-0601 or using the online request form
  • Place items neatly at the curb no earlier than the night before
  • Set items out by 4:00 a.m. on your scheduled day
  • Crews service only the designated address unless pre-approved

Please do NOT place the following at the curb:

🚫 Motor vehicle parts
🚫 Tires of any kind
🚫 Construction debris
🚫 Hazardous waste (paint, batteries, oil, pesticides)
🚫 Dirt, rock, concrete, asphalt, tile, sand
🚫 Foam packaging, loose debris, excessive loose items

Important:
Prohibited materials will not be collected.

These items must be handled separately. Contact us for disposal guidance.

  • Items must be placed at the curb no earlier than the night before
  • Pickups occur on the confirmed scheduled date
  • Items must be accessible and neatly arranged
  • If plans change, contact us before 4:00 p.m. the day prior

To avoid forfeiting your free pickup:

  • Cancel or reschedule at least 1 day in advance
  • “1 day” means before 4:00 p.m. the day prior
  • Same-day cancellations or no-shows may forfeit eligibility

Additional pickups may be scheduled for a fee, subject to availability.
