Where do I take hazardous waste or electronics?
San Joaquin County HHW facility is located at 7850 R.A Bridgeford Street, Stockton and is open year-round Thursday – Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for county residents to dispose of these items free of charge. There is also a re-use room of items that are available. For additional questions or concerns, residents can contact the San Joaquin County Household Hazardous Waste Facility directly at (209) 468-3066.

Spring Cleanup Week & Bulky Item Disposal
Residents receive access to a Spring Cleanup Week and a bulky item voucher for convenient disposal of larger household items.
Spring Cleanup Week
During Spring Cleanup Week, residents can place extra solid waste at the curb on their regular collection day.
Accepted materials include typical household waste such as bagged trash, bundled items, yard debris, and cardboard.
Program guidelines include:
- Materials must be bagged, bundled, or placed in containers
- Limit of 10 bags, bundles, or containers per household
- Individual items must be no larger than 3 feet in any direction and under 50 pounds
- Tree limbs must be cut and tied into bundles
