Recycling Services

Recycling helps conserve natural resources, reduce landfill waste, and support a cleaner community. Tracy Disposal Service provides convenient curbside recycling collection to make it easy for residents to participate.

What Goes in Your Blue Recycling Cart cart

Please place recyclable materials clean, dry, and loose inside your cart:

  • Paper and flattened cardboard
  • Glass bottles and jars
  • Aluminum and metal cans
  • Plastic bottles, tubs and containers (#1-7)
What Does NOT Go in the Recycling Cart

To prevent contamination, please keep these items out:

  • Plastic bags or film wrap
  • Food or liquid residue
  • Styrofoam or foam packing
  • Tanglers (hoses, cords, wires)
  • Diapers or household waste

Why Proper Recycling Matters

Collection Reminders

  • Recycling is collected biweekly
  • Set carts out by 4:00 a.m.
  • Lids must close completely
  • Do not overfill carts
  • Keep carts properly spaced from obstacles- 6 feet from vehicles or other object
